We’ve been seriously behind on keeping you updated on our recent happenings so we’re going to take a few minutes to brag a bit on where you can see some of our recent work and planning advice!
First up, we had the honor of planning the wedding of Twilight’s Nikki Reed & American Idol’s Paul McDonald. By far one of the sweetest couples we’ve worked with in a very long time. Being a relatively private couple they only let a few pics of their intimate ranch wedding out in the pages of US Weekly…Designwise, the couple wanted the wedding to feel like an outdoor music festival. It was just the loveliest of days with hay bales, wildflowers and food trucks galore. So much fun…
And, just in case you didn’t hear, the day was “magical”. We love that…
We also added a bit of our destination wedding know how to a recent article in
Martha Stewart’s Destination Weddings issue. This is an amazing resource for all of you destination brides out there!! Lots of great tips from all of the best of the best in the world of destination weddings.
We also made a few little cameos throughout the latest issue of
C Weddings. First with
Petra’s gorgeous bouquet, then favors from
Natalie’s Napa Wedding and then a full spread on
Ashlee & Matt’s wedding on the beaches of Santa Monica. Love the vibe of this magazine and anyone with Southern California style will find amazing inspiration in the pages of the most recent issue…
Also,
S&C got a little love in the Summer Issue of the Bridal Guide. The article was all about different weddings for different seasons and S&C’s big day screamed autumn inspiration! This is a wedding we worked on over two years ago now but we’re happy to see it’s warm and residential design is standing the test of time!
And, lastly, the shower we designed for
Laura Hooper was in the most recent issue of
Inside Weddings. We had a blast working on a day that was near to our hearts and had a lot of fun elements from the invitations designed on handkerchiefs to the pampering station where all the ladies enjoyed manicures and pedicures before a lovely Sunday brunch. Perfect day to prepare us all for her destination wedding weekend on the Big Island…more on that to come!
