The wedding day at the Amanusa Resort was just glorious. We created a day that was full of whimsy and romance while still remaining timeless. The ceremony took place in front of a backdrop created from hundreds of strips of soft muslin in skin tone shades from blush to ivory to peach. Guests sat on custom wood pews with Balinese throw pillows with just the perfect pop of gold. And down the aisle. candlelight was placed in every possible location. Jaime wore Carolina Herrera and the wedding party wore custom cocktail dresses designed by the bride herself.
Cocktails took place on an oceanfront terrace with the featured drink being “The Eleanor” in honor of the friend that introduced the couple. Indonesian appetizers were passed until sunset when guests headed poolside for a twinkly affair complete with thousands of candles hanging from every tree. The Balinese wood tables were lined with muslin runners and an ecclectic mix of vessels with flowers of every color. Guests dined on a 5 course meal and danced until 2am to the tunes of the Baker Boys. From there, everyone that was still standing jumped into the pool where they celebrated until the wee hours of the morning. Check out the lovelies from Steve Steinhardt below:
