We’re obsessed with our stationery and gift loving clients. Often we start from the simplest of elements and get to find a way to carry it all the way through from the save the dates to the welcome gifts to even the late night snacks. And Sydney and Ray were such a client. Starting with their save the dates, we had Cait Courneya draw their sweet pups and incorporated a bit of an olive branch while she was at it. From there we got to work on creating a brand special enough for a wedding that was not only personal but absolutely perfect for a wedding in Ojai.
For the welcome gifts we gave guests charming but approachable gable boxes filled with local treats which we rebranded with custom satchels, labels and even a survival guide to Ojai.
Love these little olive branch labels we came up with for the local olive oil paired with fresh baguette for each guest.
The pocket guide was custom made to Sydney and Ray’s liking, highlighting all of their favorite places to dine, drink and explore in the Ojai area.
Custom satchels with the couple’s crest and a mini recipe for spiced nuts also made an appearance. Muslin satchels are always a good option but that much better when we can make it a bit more personal.
The ceremony programs, were simple and lovely incorporating the crest, olive branches, lavender and more from the Ojai landscape.
For escort cards, we die cut beautiful stock into the shape of their crest and tucked them into an existing rosemary bush.
For the cocktails, we had little wood drinks stirrers created complete with their personal crest.
We kept the crest moving along but added just a pop of slate blue for the table numbers. It looked perfectly charming against the linens, blooms and fresh citrus Ojai is known for.
And the dinner menus donned each guest’s name while looking beautiful against the blue china we used on both the linen and raw wood dining tables.
For favors, we took the sweet custom drawing of Sydney and Ray’s pups and put them on a cookie, obviously! It was the perfect ending to a lovely celebration.
