When I say we were lucky to be a part of this one, it’s an understatement. There are no words that could show the amount of gratitude we have for being a part of Freddy & Olivia’s four day wedding weekend in Sardinia, Italy. One, the couple was amazing…if you don’t believe me, check out this too good to be true engagement video here. Two, hello, Sardinia, Italy?! Three, the venue was Cala di Volpe, a staple in the region and the perfect introduction to the old world charm that is Sardinia. And four, Olivia definitely gets it when it comes to design, hospitality and culture, which made our experience that much more fun. We worked together for a relatively short three months to create a wedding weekend experience for over 200 guests on a remote island in Italy and it was truly magical.
On the Thursday before the wedding, we had the unofficial kickoff. The evening included the nearest and dearest who made the trip a little early to get settled in and obviously, we got started with a Pizza party. The decor was effortless and charming with tomato cans of fresh herbs, wildflowers and skillets of basil, red peppercorns, parmesan and more.
